No, Wright Brothers are not world widely recognised as the inventors of the airplane. Here in Europe, specially in France, the credits are for Santos Dumont. Still, even for the alleged flight of 1905 there was no public record of it until 1908. Even the WB fans might call for the controlled flight demonstration Wilbur Wright has made in Paris in August 1908, Alberto Santos Dumont had already done that in November 1907 with the Demoiselle-19. This aircraft project was also published in detail in the Popular Mechanics magazine in 1910, while there are no publications of WB projects. A careful look into History can put down American propaganda over the WB. 50 years ago it was really hard to compete against the propaganda empowered by money, but as the internet creates a space where it can be contested and enlightened at "no cost", you see some videos trying to defend the WB popping out in the last few years. Sorry, Americans friends, WB fake won't last too long now.

Look a bit deeper in the specs and the philosophy of what a fighter like that can do… Sweden might not be a country of war, but it have had a LONG time to make the technology in many case flawless… Make sure to look in to that a bit more and not just look at the basic information and I bet you’ll double you likes… Take care. This guy showed his complete lack of understanding fighter systems and capabilities almost immediately. never even mentions the weapons these planes can carry which is the defining factor of any modern jet.

Let's be honest, Dumont has contributed to aviation much more than any other pioneer, and he was simply forgotten, is it fair? What makes me wonder about Wright brothers is the fact that they wanted to keep their invention anonymous because they wanted to sell it to US army avoiding to be copied, and in the end Glenn Curtiss sold it to the army. And if it was all about money, if they flew 38 kilometers in 1905, why the fuck didn't they win the prizes in Europe? (A great propaganda to their invention, isn't it?) They were paying thousands of dollars, which at that time was a lot of money, instead other pioneers like Dumont and Henry Farman won the prizes, only Deutch-Archdeacon prize was a value of 10,000 dollars for something which was supposedly insanely simple for the Wright brothers in that time, but instead the prize was only won in 1908 by another pioneer. The only possible explanation is that Wright Brothers are genius of engineering and unbelievable dump in business.

Versatility on the Rafale should be 9, or even 10, it's litterally the only omnirole plane in the world, and was thought to be carrier capable from the get go. Also while comparable the Eurofighter is slightly worse than the Rafale in several aspects, especially in air to ground due to more restrictive pylon configuration. but heh, french bashers are gonna bash i guess.

Typical american french bashing here, Rafale is far more flexible than the typhoon, can do SEAD / CAS / Air to Air, EW on the same mission, has a Marine version that can be operated from french / US Carriers, has the 300 KT ''Warning shot'' (operable from CDG CVN). It is rumored that the SPECTRA protection & EW suite accounts for up to 1/3 rd or more of the cost of the plane and helps the pilot making decision, you don't need stealth if you can Jam / can't be locked on. China removed it's ''stealth'' J20 when India sent it's Rafale at the border. It is 100% indigenous, including weapons, the US can't interfere in the use of the plane. As an example, if India decides to go nuclear with it's rafale, no one could stop it.
